TUBE BALL MILL
TUBE BALL MILL
Trunnions, which are hollow shafts, are integrated on the both sides of the steel sheet cylinder (shell) and supported with a bearing. Coarse powder is supplied through one of them and fine powder is taken out from the other.
The milling chamber is loaded with steel balls as milling media and the main body turns at a suitable rotational speed to cause friction between the material and the balls. Thus, the fine powder is produced and discharged.
Features
- The machine has a simple structure and toughness for efficient milling.
- The inside surfaces of the milling chamber have abrasion-resistant liners to protect the shell.
- The shell has a length more than 2.0 times or even more than 2.5 times larger than its diameter.
Therefore, material remains inside the mill for a longer period of time because of the length and finer powder is obtained.
Application
- Ore, limestone, industrial chemical products, etc.
- Slag and other waste materials
